Program Overview

Focus on AI/ML Fundamentals

This workshop introduces students to the exciting world of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), providing a strong foundation for further exploration in one of today’s most important and rapidly growing fields.

Designed for beginners, this course builds a strong understanding of how modern AI systems work and learn from data. It provides a foundation for future studies in Machine Learning, Data Science, Generative AI, AI Agents, and other emerging AI technologies.

By the end of the workshop, trainees will be able to:

  • Understand the fundamentals and evolution of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
  • Learn the differences between Rule-Based AI and Machine Learning.
  • Discover how data is used to train AI systems.
  • Explore key AI concepts, including Decision Trees, Expert Systems, Neural Networks, and Deep Learning.
  • Gain an introduction to Generative AI and AI Agents.
  • Understand AI’s capabilities, limitations, and common industry terminology.
  • Get hands-on experience with modern AI tools and services.
  • Build a strong foundation for future AI-related learning.

Focus on the Portfolio Building with a Practical Approach

As part of the workshop, students will participate in a hands-on project using a modern AI platform to train an image recognition model.

Students will learn how AI systems are trained using real-world data and gain practical experience in creating an AI model capable of identifying objects from images.

Focus on application of Python into Robotics

Throughout the workshop, students will have the opportunity to create DSA portfolios that showcase their understanding of robotics concepts, their coding skills, and the projects they have completed. By building a portfolio, students will not only have a tangible record of their learning journey but also a valuable asset they can share with future educators and interviewers.

03.

Focus on the Building Portfolios

In this workshop, students will be challenged with several hands-on activities and a final project that contribute towards building a portfolio for DSA or interview purposes.

The final project, a smart rover, will showcase the student’s ability to apply their programming skills to hardware programming.

Through the workshop, students will create and develop DSA portfolios that document their learning journey in cyber security. These portfolios will showcase their understanding of key concepts, their ability to identify and mitigate risks, and the projects they have completed. Building portfolios is key for students to demonstrate their knowledge, experience, and passion to future educators and interviewers.

In the workshop, students will be programming smart home toolkits to understand how an intelligent home can bring a positive difference to their lifestyle.

Focus on the Building Portfolios

Throughout the workshop, students will create and develop personalized DSA portfolios that document their learning journey in smart home technology. These portfolios will showcase their understanding of key concepts, their ability to program and control smart home devices, and the projects they have completed. By building this portfolio, students will not only have a tangible record of their skills and achievements but also an impressive resource that can be shared with future educators to highlight their proficiency in smart home technology.
