The Lab Wins First Place at RoboCup Asia-Pacific 2025 in Abu Dhabi

Singapore’s youth robotics team from The Lab wins First Place at RoboCup Asia-Pacific 2025.

The Lab Education Centre is proud to announce that our team has won First Place, representing Singapore at the RoboCup Asia-Pacific (RCAP) 2025 competition held in Abu Dhabi from 10–14 November 2025.

RCAP is one of the region’s most competitive robotics events, featuring top teams from South Korea, China, India and many others. Winning this title marks a significant milestone not only for The Lab but also for Singapore’s growing reputation in youth robotics and STEM education.

A Victory Powered by Dedication

Our students trained tirelessly in the months leading up to the competition, refining their builds, optimising their code, and developing strategies to meet the rigorous challenges of RoboCup. Their win reflects not only their technical abilities but also their teamwork, perseverance, and confidence under pressure.

Supported by committed coaches and encouraging parents, the team showed remarkable focus and composure throughout the competition. Their achievement is a testament to the strong learning culture and collaborative spirit cultivated within The Lab.

Friendships Across Borders

Beyond the trophy, our students returned with unforgettable memories. RCAP brought together young innovators from across the Asia-Pacific region, and our team forged meaningful friendships with participants from many countries. They exchanged ideas, shared laughs, and experienced the true spirit of global collaboration.

These interactions highlight what RoboCup stands for: using robotics as a platform to inspire creativity, build cross-cultural understanding, and nurture the next generation of problem solvers.

A Proud Moment for Singapore

This win is a milestone for our trainees and a proud achievement for Singapore. It showcases the potential of young learners and reinforces the importance of early STEM education in preparing them for a technology-driven future.

Congratulations to our incredible team — you represented the nation with excellence, passion, and heart. Well done, warriors!
