The Lab Students Achieve Outstanding Success at RoboCup Asia Pacific 2026

The Lab is proud to announce the remarkable achievements of our students at the RoboCup Asia Pacific Competition 2026, held in Tianjin, China. Representing Singapore on the international stage, our teams competed against talented participants from across the region, including China, South Korea, Taiwan, and other countries.

The competition attracted approximately 60–70 participants within our categories, making it a highly competitive event that challenged students to demonstrate not only their technical skills but also their creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities under pressure.

After two exciting days of competition, our students achieved an outstanding result, bringing home a total of four awards:

  • 🥇 1st Place – Team Challenge (U12)
  • 🥇 1st Place – Team Challenge (U12 First Steps)
  • 🏅 Judges’ Award – U12
  • 🏅 Judges’ Award – U12 First Steps

These achievements reflect months of preparation, dedication, and perseverance from our students, supported by our coaches and families. Beyond the awards, the experience provided invaluable opportunities for students to interact with peers from different countries, learn from international teams, and gain exposure to global robotics standards and innovation.

One of the most memorable moments of the event was seeing the Singapore flag raised during the award ceremony. It was a proud moment not only for our students and their families but also for The Lab community as a whole.

At The Lab, we believe that competitions such as RoboCup provide students with opportunities to apply their knowledge in authentic settings, build confidence, develop resilience, and grow as future innovators. We are incredibly proud of every student who participated and represented Singapore with excellence, sportsmanship, and determination.

We would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to all participants, coaches, and parents who contributed to this success.
